SUPER CHEER ANNONCEMNET

PATRIOT CHEER TEAMS RISE AT SUPER CHEER -  JUNIOR FRESHMAN WIN BACK TO BACK OVERALL TROPHY !

The Birmingham Patriots proudly congratulate our cheer teams for their 2013 Super Cheer success.  The Patriot cheer teams, competing at Freshman and Junior Freshman levels, took home four medals and the overall Championship.  The Freshman team, coached by Kay Mohamed and staff received medals for each round – a second place in the difficult stunting round, and a third place in the cheer round – and finished second overall!  The Junior Freshman team, coached by Patriot and MYFCC Cheer Director Nicole Sutton and staff, also received medals for each rounds – a second place in stunting and a second in cheer.  The Junior Freshman team won the overall team victory making them BACK TO BACK CHAMPIONS.

As an organization, the Patriots salute these athletes and coaches for their diligence, commitment, and effort.  The coaches put in tens, if not hundreds, of hours developing and choreographing the routines, cheers, and stunts.  The Patriots cannot be more proud of the girls, and look forward to their continued success.  They were truly amazing. Congratulations to you all!

WELCOME

Welcome to the home of the Birmingham Patriots.  The Patriots are a unique experience, offering players experienced coaches (many with college playing backgrounds), top of the line safety equipment, and playing in the competitive MYFCC league.  As the elite football program in the Birmingham area, the Patriots provide young athletes with an unparalleled ability to grow in the sport, far exceeding those of other area and school programs.  Our program was designed to prepare young athletes for competition at the high school level.  Several Patriots "graduates" are now playing for area high schools such as Birmingham Groves and Seaholm.

Football is a unique sport.  The sport teaches young student athletes more about the importance of team work, work ethic, preparation, confidence and dedication that many other youth activities.  These skills positively translate throughout a person’s life.  Lifelong friendships are made.  To play the game on a competitive level, young players have to get in proper condition, understand their assignment, then execute the plays prescribed by the coach.  Athletes are active, gain confidence, and exposure to one of the most popular sports in the nation.  Playing youth football can be a life-changing and growing experience for a student athlete.

Our programs are specially designed to teach advanced skills that will translate throughout a student athletes  athletic career.  In a time when authors have routinely and universally found that practice, experience and repetition leads to greater abilities at all types of activities, the Patriots provide the outlet for that growth.  Beginning in summer with its voluntary summer programs, and continuing into fall, the Patriots provide more coaching and opportunities to its athletes than any other rival program.

Is your student athlete ready for the challenge?

Although registration remains open, spots are limited and teams are filling fast.  Due to demand, we can no longer hold spots for returning players.
