The Patriots Board of Directors is excited to announce that we have joined the Oakland/Macomb Youth Football Association (OMYFA) starting this coming season.  The OMYFA is a traditional, long standing league with consistent membership rules.  To learn more about our new league please visit their website -----> OMYFA WEBSITE

Welcome to the home of the Birmingham Patriots.  The Patriots are a unique experience, offering players experienced coaches (many with college playing backgrounds), top of the line safety equipment, and playing in the competitive OMYFA league.  As the elite football program in the Birmingham area, the Patriots provide young athletes with an unparalleled ability to grow in the sport, far exceeding those of other area and school programs.  Our program was designed to prepare young athletes for competition at the high school level.  Several Patriots "graduates" are now playing for area high schools such as Birmingham Groves and Seaholm.

Football is a unique sport.  The sport teaches young student athletes more about the importance of team work, work ethic, preparation, confidence and dedication that many other youth activities.  These skills positively translate throughout a person’s life.  Lifelong friendships are made.  To play the game on a competitive level, young players have to get in proper condition, understand their assignment, then execute the plays prescribed by the coach.  Athletes are active, gain confidence, and exposure to one of the most popular sports in the nation.  Playing youth football can be a life-changing and growing experience for a student athlete.

Cheer is a demanding sport that teaches athletes about leadership, teamwork and discipline.  Our Cheerleaders participate in sideline cheer during football games, and practice for a competition at the end of the season.  The focus is on developing a sense of pride in their accomplishments for our athletes, which often leads to an increase in self confidence.  The team creates a special kind of bond that encourages our athletes to do their best.

Our programs are specially designed to teach advanced skills that will translate throughout a student athletes  athletic career.  In a time when authors have routinely and universally found that practice, experience and repetition leads to greater abilities at all types of activities, the Patriots provide the outlet for that growth.  Beginning in summer with its voluntary summer programs, and continuing into fall, the Patriots provide more coaching and opportunities to its athletes than any other rival program.

Is your student athlete ready for the challenge?

Although registration remains open, spots are limited and teams are filling fast.  Due to demand, we can no longer hold spots for returning players.
